Recipe for Dutch Almond Cookie Pizza Crust
What You Need
- ½ cup butter or margarine
- ½ cup vegetable shortening
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ cup blanched sliced almonds
How to Make It
Prepare a baking sheet or pizza pan by lightly spraying it with cooking spray and then set aside until needed.
Using a medium to large size mixing bowl you will add the butter or margarine and the vegetable shortening. Cream together well.
Gradually add the sugar and brown sugar while beating and then cream together until well blended.
